APPS
Mental health and wellness apps can be a useful tool to augment therapy. They are available at the App Store and at Google Apps Store. Issues to consider when choosing an app include: how long the app has been available, the developer’s privacy policies, user experience, and online (clinical and scientific) reviews.
More information can be found in this useful New York Times article: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/13/well/mind/mental-health-apps-therapy.html The author of the article, Christina Caron, identified the websites https://mindapps.org/Home which includes apps reviewed by clinicians, and https://onemindpsyberguide.org/ which reviews apps for credibility, user experience and transparency of privacy practices.
